D.G. Myers is associate professor of English at Texas A&M University. Here’s how he describes himself on hisblog:
“An English professor at Texas A&M University, I am the author of The Elephants Teach (Chicago, 2006) and coeditor (with Paul M. Hedeen) of Unrelenting Readers (Story Line, 2004). My degrees are from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I founded the literary magazine Quarry (later Quarry West) with Raymond Carver, and Northwestern University, where I held the TriQuarterly Fellowship and studied under Gerald Graff. I live in Houston with my wife Naomi and our four children: Dov, Saul, Isaac, and Miriam (“Mimi”).”
