This peer review asks students to evaluate their classmates’ essays in response to several open-ended questions which focus on how well the essay’s introduction hooks the audience, whether or not the author makes the subject appear significant to the reader, whether the rough draft clearly reveals the writer’s focus, and if the author provides an engaging title for his or her draft.
