Description
This rubric-like form mimics the evaluation rubric used to determine students’ final Exploratory Essay grades. Students are asked to evaluate their own work in terms of their opening move, consideration of multiple viewpoints, ability to summarize, analyze, and evaluate sources, use of MLA format and attributive tags, a fulfilling conclusion, use of style, and evidence of careful proofreading. Students are then asked to reflect on where they need to focus their attention before submitting the final draft.
