“History of Education Quarterly publishes topics that span the history of education, both formal and nonformal, including the history of childhood, youth, and the family. The subjects are not limited to any time period and are universal in scope.” (http://www.wiley.com/bw/journal.asp?ref=0018-2680). Subjects can include pedagogy, literacy or composition education history, teaching conditions, and curriculum. In addition to traditional academic articles, the journal publishes historical documents, debates, research notes, retrospectives, and reviews.
History of Education Quarterly is an anonymously reviewed, quarterly publication of the History of Education Society.
