Description
This practice describes two different methods of reflective writing I assign to students. The first, a brief ‘writer’s statement’ which accompanies each essay and asks students to reflect on their writing process for that assignment, and the second a more formal ‘retrospective essay’ which is more in depth and assigned at the end of the quarter and asks students to reflect on their work throughout the course.
