Sidney I. Dobrin

Description

Sidney I. Dobrin is an associate professor in the English Department at the University of Florida. Dobrin received his Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition at the University of South Florida and his M.A. in Professional Writing and Medieval Literature at Old Dominion University. Dobrin describes his teaching interests as including undergraduate writing, writing across the curriculum, graduate courses in composition theory and the teaching of writing; environmental rhetoric; ecocriticism; the literature of fishing. His recent notable publications include, Don’t Call It That: The Composition Practicum (2005), Writing Environments with Christopher J. Keller (2005), and A Closer Look: The Writer’s Reader with Anis S. Bawarshi (2003).
