Description
This grading rubric for the Summary-Strong Response essay should be given out with the Essay Assignment in order for students to “see” how their essay is going to be evaluated from the beginning. Giving students access to the rubric ahead of time allows them to ask questions and seek advice (and helps avoid confusion in the process).
