Dogwood Bloom Reading Series
Though they only flower in the spring, the dogwood trees that surround the English department in Ellis Hall are beautiful year-round.

-
This fall, when fiction writer Emily Grekin and raconteur Zach Oden read from their work on September 23rd, the leaves and berries will be almost-crimson.
-
In winter, large floral buds will hang from the silver branches as poet Sarah Green, fictionist Gary Gondek, and his intrepid colleague Jim Nelson read on January 27th.
-
The dogwoods will be in bloom as the series closes on April 6th with readings by essayist Suzanne Evans, poet Cameron Kelsall and story-smith James Miranda.
-
The Dogwood Bloom Reading Series takes place at 7:00pm in Galbreath Chapel.
A reception will follow each reading in some underground locale.Dogwood Bloom is a student-run creative writing reading series that allows current second-year graduate students to showcase their work.
